Additional info & updates

12/22 Acceptance Letter from Maryland PT program. Leaning towards a full time program but this is the highest ranked school I applied to. Merry Christmas!

1/11 Acceptance Letter from UB- very excited. Hofstra deferred decision until March- kind of surprised, but I will chalk that up as a WL.

1/12 In at Albany via Status Checker.

1/26 Hofstra ended up accepting me...the defer until March letter seems a little unnecesary at this point. But good news is good news.

Also in at Syracuse since I last updated, with the scholarship it definitely makes going there way more affordable...and way more of a possibility.

2/3 Waitlisted at Drexel (over the weekend) and Pitt. Pitt sent a pretty nice e-mail about it. I will stay on these lists for now as I move toward making a decision...

2/22 Waitlisted at Villanova. Officially heard back from the ten schools I applied to- no outright rejections. I will likely be making my decision by April while staying on a few waitlists. Any advice is welcome.

good luck. Similar stats and schools. Are you retaking in Dec or are you applying to DSL with a 156? I am retaking so I hopefully don't get stuck on the waitlist.

Good Luck

Good luck with your apps. We have some similar schools and kind of close numbers.

just ran into your profile and thought I'd share a few things... you can transfer into FT as of the 2nd yr, all you have to do is fill out a form and not be failing. Also, you can take up to 17 credits your 2nd semester, and more than the initial 10 your 1st if your unemployed, so you'll essentially be FT, and graduate in 3 years lastly, the PT class is slightly less competitive, and since your grades are curved based on each class, it may lead to higher grades your 1st year which will help you come 2L summer job search. http://www.law.umaryland.edu/students/resources/policies/standards.html#a03 the link above shows the gap between the PT & FT GPA's, confirming that PT is less competitive. Good luck in your cycle

Congrats on Maryland PT! I just put in my app there and to handful of other places in MD & DC for PT. I have a friend at Maryland who switched from PT to FT and said it was pretty easy to do. You decide where you want to go?
