Worked as a Business Manager for a number of academic associations for 7 years.

As you can see, my GPA leaves a lot to be desired. I graduated in 1997. I have heard from friends that this long swath of time helps lessen the weight of my GPA in admissions, but have read a few places that this really doesn't matter. If anyone has any insight into this, I'd like to hear it, It will certainly help me decide where to apply.

--18 MARCH, waitlisted from KU. This was ,my first pick. Not happy. Still going to bust ass to get in.

--20 MARCH no mail, but got an email from Florida, "once again congrats on admission to UF law". What? I gotta call these folks to veriy before the champane is opened. Although KU is my first choice, my alma mater ain't too shabby. If I can only figure out instate tuition for the 2nd and 3rd years...

--27 March--Still no mail from UF. Given my numbers are lower than most who got in, I am freaking out a little bit. those you you who received your Accepted students day email recently, have you received your acceptance letters via postal mail yet?

---29 march-- parents called me at 1 am my time to say they got the package in the mail from UF. wow! can't believe it. Can't wait to get back to gainesville.

Email from Denver, waitlisted. What? those pepole. The nerve! Maybe it's cuz i applied in mid March. AND waitlisted at the William and the Mary. That's actully a positive in my book. Assumed i'd just get letter from them that just said: " Dear Applicant, No. With Best Regards, William and Mary. "

Mid May- My dad called me in the middle of the night my time to say KU accepted me too. Cool beans!

May 23rd- I am officially without a home! I have ties to KS and FL, but neither consider me instate! WTF!

Glad to hear you got your package from UF. I still haven't gotten mine, but I called admissions and they told me they were having trouble with the mailroom. People in Gainesville still had not received the mail from last Wednesday! Hopefully, mine will arrive today as well. Go Gators!

Congrats on Kansas

How did they notify you of your acceptance off the waitlist?
