Additional info & updates

* Feb.06/07: W&M came in a express packet. Got a call from the assitant dean the next day to answer any potential questions I may have on the offer. I was really impressed by their efforts. I think W&M is a solid school with good values.

*Feb.09/07: It has almost been 3 weeks since I applied BU via LSAC. They havent requested my file yet. Called the addmission office, got it straighten out right away. By all means, you should call immediately if the process is taking longer than usual

*Mar.13/07: In at BU by email. No mentioning of scholarship. Offical letter will come next week.

*Mar.12/07: Here comes the first ding. Say bye bye to Boalt Hall.

*Mar.14/07: Cornell waitlisted. I guess I am still in the running, but the chance is slim since the waitlist is like several hundered and probably only 10% of it will be accepted in the end. There are still pretty strong candidates on that list.

*Mar.21/07: Called GWU and Notre Dame, no decisions have been made from both school. Not looking good. Probably tow more WL.

*Mar.27/06:GWU and ND's ding letters. Felt pretty bad. Thought at least I was going to be on their WL. Oh, well, was seriously considering them anyways.

Best of luck this cycle. Where are you applying? Your account says there are no apps in your database.

I think I have above average soft factors. Good jobs, volunteer activities, etc. I don't have a masters and a career like you, however.

Hey, Um, my situation may be unique (of course, everyone thinks he or she is a unique snowflake) but I don't think I'm a URM. Plenty of Asians in socal law schools these days.
