Actually, in 2002 Utah was tied for 45. BYU was tied for 37. While there has been a drop, it's not as substantial as redlaw describes. I also think they'll be moving up soon.

I wish I could say I were going to the U because I really love it. I think the new dean is doing some great things. He's got some awesome connections and I see the program really improving in the next couple of years. But my wife and I are interested in leaving Utah for a while so we'll probably end up at GW barring a dramatic increase in USC's scholarship offer. Congrats on your scholarship, btw! Are you leaning towards Utah?
