I was also a member of The Singing Statesmen for 4 years and had many notable performances.

Letters of Recommendation:
1) UW-Eau Claire Chancellor
2) Student Senate advisor/Dean of Students
3) My faculty advisor that I took classes from and served on committees with.

Additional info & updates

3/26/09... I heard back from Hamline regarding their Bakken Fellowship program and I was accepted! In response to anonymous message below, I have notified St. Thomas, WM, and Marquette that I will not be attending in the fall.
I'm so excited for the fall!!

3/10/09... I received a letter dated 3/5/09 from Wisconsin. I was not accepted.
My choices after Wisconsin were William Mitchell and Hamline and it looks like it'll be Hamline. I don't think I can pass up a full tuition scholarship. I'll write again when I've heard about the Fellowship program!

2/28/09... I received an e-mail from Hamline inviting me to apply for their Bakken Fellowship program, because I will be a recipient of their President's Scholarship. The application is due Monday, March 16 by 5:00pm and I will be notified Monday, March 23, by 5:00pm. I'm very excited to apply!
I'm still waiting on Wisconsin... I don't expect to get in but I'd like to know!!!!!!

2/2/09... I got my official letter from Hamline in a large envelope confirming the phone call. I have been accepted there and offered a full tuition renewable scholarship.
I got me letter today from Marquette saying I was accepted and that there is more information to come. There was no mention of a scholarshp so I don't anticipate being offered anything.
I also got a letter from DePaul telling me I was waitlisted. I am sending my response withdrawing my application

1/31/09... I got a large white envelope from William Mitchell today and I was accepted! I was also offerred $10,000 a year scholarship. Because tuition is only around 15-16,000, I am pretty happy with that scholarship!

1/29/09... Best birthday present ever! I got a phone call from Diane Ostman at Hamline University to notify me that I am accepted and am being offered the President's Scholarship, equal to tuition and renewable. Basically, they gave me a $100,000 birthday present! I should be receiving the packet of information in the mail in the next day or so and I'll post when I get it.

1/17/09... I got in the mail today my acceptance from the University of St. Thomas! They sent it in a large magazine-size envelope. They also offered me a $20,000 Dean's Scholarship. I am excited because this means that I am going to law school, I just don't know where yet. But it feels really good to have the first response be so positive and so soon.

1/6/09... I am starting to get word that parts of my applications are being received. Not complete yet.

12/30/08... All of my applications are submitted. Now I'm just waiting for confirmation and notification they are complete.

Congrats on your acceptance and scholarship to Hamline! I will also be attending there this fall. I was wondering if you have made living arrangements yet? I am trying to get advice on good places to stay. I am currently living in Kansas but will be coming up to visit a few times before moving up in August.
