Additional info & updates

E-mailed Michigan on 3-31 requesting a decision (I received the deferral e-mail back in February.) Reply e-mail from Dean Zearfoss on 4-3 offering a spot on the waitlist. Honestly, I was never really interested in Michigan over U.Va. and only applied because of the fee waiver and the potential of gaining fin. aid bargaining leverage with U.Va. Had I not gotten accepted to U.Va., UMich would have probably been the next choice. Sincere best of luck to those on the waitlist; I will not be joining you.

U.Va. has been my target from before I even started studying for the LSAT and, after receiving my fin. aid package, I could not be more realistically happy with the way this process has shaken out. I will be withdrawing from G'town and W & L this week to hopefully free up some spots and $$$. Best of luck to all of you with your own apps. It's been interesting.

congratulations to you too! and if you really want to go to uva, you can definitely find a way... there's lots of good need-based financial aid, not to mention the fact that you will make more upon graduation just because of where you went. thanks again and GO GATORS :)

Well Done
