At this point, it's 100% NYU over Toronto. Despite the horrific costs tied to it, I think NYU opens more doors, and perhaps enough to justify the cost. I get your need for change (since you went to Columbia for undergrad), but is NYU really that different (I ask as a question, not a prod!) in terms of people/place? I mean, isn't it like 30 minutes from Columbia by subway? If I get into Columbia, I'm pretty sure my family would push me in that direction. My brother has convinced my parents that it's a no-brainer between NYU/Columbia. We'll see I guess. But it would be pretty awesome if we ended up at the same law school next year!

why nyu over Columbia? i was going to pich chicago over nyu, but not columbia. whata the difference for you?
