Florida State Law School doesn't accept applications until October 1st. I have been holding off on submitting my application until the date they have provided. Is there a reason you submitted 2 weeks early?

Well I followed your lead. My application went off yesterday. Good Luck!

thanks

Thanks for the heads up. So far my status checker is pretty non-informative. My status is sitting there as "incomplete." I'm assuming that the incomplete will be marked as complete/decision mailed when they review it. Good luck! Which school is your #1 choice?

It was kind of weird. They sent me an email telling me to create an account. So I did, and when I finished it took me to a page where it said Congrats and that I was accepted. They also mentioned that I should be receiving an acceptance letter by the mail soon. Check your email and good luck

I called them the other day and they claimed I was complete but my status is still sitting as incomplete? Who knows. I hope to hear something good. Again, Congrats!Florida State is a great school- one of the lowest tuitions in the country when attending in-state, very small classes comparatively (like 200 students admitted every year for a class; basically everyone knows each other), and they have a 99% job placement upon graduation. Where is Florida State in your own personal ranking of the schools you applied to?

Hey our numbers are somewhat similar. Do you know roughly when Hastings releases their early decisions? I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Anyway good luck with your cycle

Thanks, good luck to you as well! Just out of curiousity, do you have a top choice?

Tuesday, May 27 2008 at 08:00 PM

Fordham hands down for me as well (as the name suggests I love the city!) then next would be Osgoode, I know a few people who've gone there and loved it.

Thanks!

Thanks, it's good to have one decision, finally! Hopefully you'll hear something from them soon, hang in there :)

Shocked at Wisconsin

How in the world are you waitlisted at Wisconsin? I assume you went there for UG. I think you'd get in off the WL.

Saturday, January 24 2009 at 07:00 PM

Hey. I'm a fellow wisconsinite hoping to get in at the UW. Pretty disappointed after seeing you get WL though. We have almost identical stats. Did you go to Madison for UG?

Wisco.

Hey man. As mentioned above, with your residency and good numbers, I think you've a shot to get off the WL, definitely. That is, if you haven't withdrawn like you said you likely will, haha. GL with the rest of your cycle! Maybe I'll see you at Madison, yet!

Saturday, February 09 2008 at 07:00 PM

Looks like we have some similarities. We're too good for Fordham anyway. Good luck with the rest of it!

Finally!

Congrats on Osgoode!!

Tuesday, May 27 2008 at 08:00 PM

It's been weird, I'm still waiting on so many decisions. I've only heard back from 1 of the 9 US schools I applied to and it was a waitlist! I'm thinking the delay means more WL's are coming my way though. I'm hoping by the Osgoode's deposit date I'll at least have a few other options... That's good you've pretty much settled on Oz though! It's such a good school, I'm glad that no matter what else happens I know I'll be happy there as well. And Toronto's an awesome city, which makes it even better :)

Congrats on your cycle. I'm still waiting to hear from Brooklyn. Have you decided on where you're going yet? I got the same scholarship at UM, visited it last week and it is absolutely gorgeous

Thursday, November 27 2008 at 07:00 PM

Wow, you and I have similar schools, and similar cycle adventures. Here's hoping we both get off that Fordham waitlist! I'm also a fan of Northeastern, and waiting, waiting, waiting on Hastings. I should've applied when you did!
