Additional info & updates

1-19-10 : Waitlisted at George Mason by letter. Nice letter and stated I was a strong applicant. Much better than a rejection letter.

2-12-10 : Wake Forest Online Status changed to "Decision Letter Pending". Not sure if that is good or bad, but i figure it could be useful to some of you out there.

2-19-10 : Rejected at Wake Forest by letter. I expected this, they seemed to cut off at about 164LSAT.

3-2-10: Admitted at West Virginia Univ via the online status checker. Excited to finally be accepted.

3-9-10: Waitlisted at University of Tennessee via the online status checker. Bummer.

3-11-10: Admitted at University of Dayton via a nice phone call. Scholarship offer is forth coming. That is good news.

3-15-10: Just received admission packet from Dayton with an offer for $16,000.00, which is almost 50%, so I am very thankful for such a generous offer and will definitely be attending the Admitted Student Day on March 27th to see if this is a good fit for me.

3-19-10: Received email from W&M stating that I was placed on their waitlist. After the long wait I was worried that it would be a rejection, but hope is still alive for me at W&M.

3-25-10: Waitlisted at Richmond, which means all of my home state schools have waitlisted me. I will try to persuade them further as the cycle rages on.

3-25-10: Received an email response from admissions at Indiana University- Bloomington. They have accepted me and my packet should be arriving next week sometime! Wow! The phone interview must have done the trick.

Congrats on Indiana. I have similar numbers and also got into Indiana. I went to the spring law day the other week and have been impressed. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck on deciding.

When you got the Priority Mail from IUB did it also include your scholarship? I received the priority mail but it did not mention a scholarship. Am I SOL or will I get another letter from IUB with a scholarship. Thanks
