Thanks!!! I received my waitlist letter on a Saturday, and got a call the following Thursday to let me know I was accepted. I was told that I was the first waitlist call, although I didn't really do anything special. But I think the fact that I applied to the JD/MBA program may have helped me. I had already been accepted to the MBA program, so I called them up on Wednesday and let them know I was still waiting on the law school... I'm not positive that this is was got me off the WL, but its pretty likely that it didn't hurt.
I was sent a letter saying i was rejected about 1 to 2 months after the waitlist letters. The DePaul letter made it sound like their class was full and they would not take ANY waitlisted students.
Congratulations on your UF admission! I have a question regarding your Stetson scholarship: Did you get the offer along with your acceptance package or did it come later in the mail? Your answer would help me out a great deal. Thanks
Thanks so much for responding! I applied to Stetson to start in Spring. I was anxious to hear about scholarship info because I have to make a decision really soon and I can't afford the school without $$. So, maybe I'll see you next year at UF. If you have time, let me know how you like it!
