interestingly enough, two of my holds are the two fee waivers

11/25 - Call from Dean Tom; first acceptance

1/20 - Hold letter from UChicago (Status Checker went to Decision Mailed on 1/15 and went to Decision Pending on 1/8)

1/29 - Hold email from Penn... I'm starting to wonder if I made a glaring mistake on my app... I wonder what Dean Tom saw in me.

2/14 - Hold letter from Columbia (they guarantee a decision by 4/20 but it can be Accept, Reject, or Reserve (Columbia Waitlist))

2/20 - Rejection snail mail from Yale, no surprise, first straight out rejection, nice to get that out of the way...

4/8 - Rejection snail mail from Penn. Letter dated 4/3 (status checker changed to decision rendered then) and the envelope was postmarked 4/6. Doesn't really bother me as I wasn't really into Penn, I used the same extra essay for the Penn letter that I wrote for UChicago answering one of UChicago's prompts. Probably would have been better sending nothing than sending something they could easily tell was for something else.

4/11 - Waitlisted snailmail from both NYU and Columbia today. Shoul'dve been expected but still sucks...

4/15 - Waitlisted via email from Harvard.

5/2 - waitlisted at Stanford via snail mail...
