I\'ve actually debated ED a lot in my mind. If you want Columbia or NYU, ED is pretty much a must. I don\'t think our numbers will get us into those schools regular decision. However, I\'m not a fan of New York, so I\'m thinking ED at Penn for me...

why ED at NYU?

i\'m debating ED at either columbia or nyu and am curious to see what\'s motivating people to take the plunge at either -- international law interests? best of luck with your cycle/apps!

Hey there, I\'m debating ED at NYU/Columbia, but it totally depends on how the Oct. LSAT turns out. I\'m also a bit concerned about money, since NYC is hella expensive, and ED might prevent scholarship opps for me. However, yes I\'ve heard the same things about NYU and Columbia in terms of competitive student bodies and location, so I was learning towards NYU for international law as well. However, Columbia offers the dual-degree program I\'m interested in, whereas NYU does not, so that makes things tricky. I\'ll probably know more after LSAT scores come out, and I\'ll keep you posted. Thanks for the perspective!

good luck with your cycle- it's nice to see I have a number twin on here! :)

Good luck as well. I'm sure with your GPA you will not need it. Hopefully we'll both hear back from Duke soon...

Berkeley, that is so exciting!! =)

Berkeley is pretty high up there, but I also applied to Stanford. Depends on where my boyfriend can get a job though.

Congrats to you too!

on berkeley... Berkeley is definitely a serious contender for me, and will try to make it out for ASW to get a better feel. but pretty much I only applied to schools that I would be very happy to attend which would make it tough to choose one if it came down to it. If anybody threw money at me, it'd also make me reconsider (though from my list I don't think i'll get much)

I haven't really made any decisions yet. I'm going to wait for scholarship amounts and then start to narrow it down. Thanks again and I hope you have fun in NYC next fall!

Yea, I got deferred from Columbia so I got put back into the regular applicant pool. It looks like they only a ridiculously small amount of ED people. They sent me a letter saying they would send me their decision by March. Oh well, at least I got NYU 8 P
