sooooo, I'm guessing you will be at Howard in the fall? Congrats on your acceptances! :-)
Hiiiiyaaaa!! *throws confetti* CONGRATS!! Look forward to meeting you! :)~
congrats on howard! how did u here from them?
also, did u contact them, or do anything to show your interest?
Yeah, I got the WL email indicating that they'd make decisions and responded promptly, and some folks on LSD said to call once I received that letter. I called and asked about my addition LOR and LOCI I sent... I was told I could continue to call periodically to reaffirm my interest. Called back to do that, asked for Dean McGahee and was treated rather abruptly by a man on the phone (never identified himself). Told me to assume my supporting documents were added and not to call again unless I got word to from their office :-/ I didn't have the numbers and felt lucky to have been waitlisted, but to be treated that way is uncalled for. They could have just denied me instead of ruining their reputation in the eyes of a prospective applicant. I won't be referring anyone to apply there. Congrats on your acceptance though and I hope we'll both enjoy law school in the fall!
I'd also like to know how your 1L @ HUSL goes. E-mail if you can and good luck!
Just got an offer from HUSL... don't know what to do :-/ UDC: Cheaper tuition, great clinics, and the faculty/staff have been great to me throughout the whole process. They have no OCI for students and all handwritten exams (killer for me). Someone on Howard's staff needs an attitude adjustment, but I have friends there and the opportunities out of Howard are great. Any advice? Suggestions?
Congrats! I'm still waitlisted... did you do anything in particular to show interest or contact the office?
