Yeah it was one of my top choices--but unfortunately today I received notice that I was not accepted. I am down to five schools I guess. St. Thomas, Valparaiso, Appalachian, Florida A&M, or John Marshall. Do you know anything of any of these? Congrats for your NCCU acceptance btw.
Think it would be worth it for me to apply again but like in November? And just work at the law firm the rest of this time? Or stay with what I have left
I value your input. As of now, I see myself getting out of law school and moving over to the Lake Norman area in NC and practicing there. Yes, I am aware I would have to sit and take the NC bar and study up for it and all that since I would be coming from an out of state school but I'm ready. What are the chances of transferring after the first year?

I have sent off a seat deposit for st. thomas. I simply cannot wait another year to get on with my life. I figure I am heading somewhere, the only thing that would change my current path would be an acceptance into Appalachian or John Marshall. Just wanted to keep you updated. How are things for you?
I just got into Appalachian. I will be attending Appalachian in August and I'm going up there to find an apt the end of this month.
Due to the location of the school and the decent reputation I have decided it is the school for me. I have to move out of my apartment by the end of the month and this acceptance made it so much easier.

Hi Chydiva, I recently got accepted into NCCU and was very curious about how it is. I heard about C curve for 1Ls and it sort of scared me! I'd really appreciate if you could get back to me about the NCCU's workload, people,and location, thank you! And congratulations on getting through your first semester=)

Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. I am still keeping the faith and at least hopng for a PBAP. I was really hoping that my soft factors would amount to something. I know, just like you said, that I can perform above the expectations of my LSAT score if just given the chance. NCCU is odd too because they have turned some away that have great LSAT's and good GPA's for those with lesser. And then sometimes they take a high GPA over a low LSAT. Its such a strange process. But I am a fighter and will continue on!
Hey, Thank's for the encouragement! Where do I live when I go to NCCU? Any idea what kind of people DON'T complete BPAP to gain admission? I'm kind of nervous about BPAP because I'm practically loosing my job to do it and it doesn't guarantee admission. I don't know what to expect! -Charlie B hopeful NCCU class of 2011

Thanks! I'm really excited about NCCU! I'm going to try to enjoy my summer but work is sooo busy right now that I don't know if it will happen. I'm moving to Durham in July so I will have at least three weeks to myself. Can't wait!

I don\'t check this site enough b/c I would have talked to you b/4 I came down there a few weeks ago to look at places. I found a place that I love though and since I went to Central for undergrad, I had some idea about where I wanted to stay. I\'ll see you in the fall!
