Straight from ugrad

UF update 3/30/06: got a letter in thin white envelope informing me I'm an alternate for a merit scholarship of between $2000 and $5,500

American update 4/20: Accepted off waitlist, but only given 24 hours to decide yes or no. No money + trickiness on their part = no thanks.

Another UF update 5/23/06: Got the scholarship. It's $4,000 per year, which is pretty sweet considering UF only costs $7,000 per year. This complicates things...

So far it's looking like UF. Thankfully, I have until May 15 to give them my deposit. I will stay on GW's waitlist all summer long if necessary... hopefully it won't come to that though. Then again, if I get a miracle acceptance at either Columbia, Harvard or Duke, I'm definitely going.
