2/17--Dir. of Admissions notified me by email that maybe I should consider applying through their Special Admissions Program (doesn't that sound like I'm a 'tard?). Well, took them up on the offer and submitted my info 2/28

As you can see, they received my application 12/07.......They sat and sat on it and never requested my LSDAS report so I email them in Jan. They tell me to wait another month. Still no report requested. End of Feb rolls around and I get a postcard stating my application is complete except for my LSDAS report and LOR. Still, they don't request my report. Then I get a super harsh letter (2/28) saying pretty much, 'Hey idiot! Your application is still not complete and if we don't get a response from you in 15days, your application is going to get tossed.' Guess what was checked as missing on the letter? That's right, my LSDAS report and LOR. So, I email them the same day and in the same harsh tone say that I received this letter and that there is nothing I can do because you idiots haven't requested my LSDAS report. They requested the report the same day they received my email. It pissed me off. Whatever.

4/7--Waitlist Received Medium sized envelope.

HASTINGS--Application was first Complete 2/02::
4/12 Waitlist received in standard envelope.
2/11 Notified me by email that maybe I should consider applying through their LEOP program. Took them up on the offer and submitted my essay, etc by 3/01.

hey...good luck with all your applications. kind of surprising that you've only heard back from one school though. isn't the wait just killing you?! haha...i can't stand this...takes wayyyy too long to find anything out. i do like your story on GGU though...hilarious. that exact thing happened to me with northwestern. dumbass adcomms

what's goin on here?! you haven't heard from a single school yet! what's up with that?! been almost 2 months since you heard from someone...crazy. this week should be big for you though that you'll have so much mail you don't even know what to do with. good luck though...and i just noticed that you were half korean half black...that's what amerie is! you must be cute like her too =P

Beja: Yep. They say that Merit Scholarship offers are in the admissions letter. Info re:grants, etc are sent separately in the fin aid pkt.

I had the same EXACT experince with Golden Gate. It must be their policy to see who takes the initiative to get on them for not requesting LSDAS reports. Lame!
