Additional info & updates

The first was my safe school, Capital. I was just so happy to know I was GOING to law school. They gave my 29 K a year

I am an older student (31) with a hubby and 2 year old daughter. (1/5/09)

Got into Buff...hubby made me apply b/c he doesnt want to move. It was the closest to where we currently live. THey gave me 9 K annually

Got into Chicago Kent. Would love to live in Chicago, but its so expensive there...hubby doubts we can do it with just his income. But they offered me a 3 year full scholarship

WOOHOO got into Indiana U at Bloom. It is a BEAUTIFUL school. Theya re so nice, they have a GREAT 1st year revamped program. They offered me a 3 year full scholarship with a 3.2 GPA

OSU! This is where I really wanted to go! I love Columbus and I LOVE football. I applied b/c of their dispute resolution program. However, they only offered me 10 K and I cant do that to my family....esp with Indiana offering me full.

Now I feel like Im done. Im so excited! Bloomington is small, but I heard its beautiful..we are visiting this weekend.

I got into Oregon...15 K/year...ok Im chicken, I cant move that far after all

I didnt get into Minn :( it was a nice dream. But it IS cold! (yes that makes me feel better to say)

I got waitlisted at GA. Hubby said no way, too hot.

Just letting the deposit date pass will work, but schools will appreciate it if you let them know once you're 100% sure you're not going there (waitlist candidates want you to do this too to free up room, though from what I gather you don't really affect their chances as in most cases schools don't dip into their waitlist until after the first deposit deadline anyway). I've just dropped quick e-mails to schools telling them that I appreciate their offer of acceptance but that I've chosen to enroll elsewhere and would like to withdraw. Congrats on the acceptance and the full tuition scholarship to IU-B, hopefully we'll both really enjoy going there. Seems like a great school and town.
