5/15/09 - Made a decision...... OU HERE I COME!!!! I was waitlisted at U of H and when I really thought about it, OU just felt right to me. The school, the area, the staff; it all feels like that's where I'm meant to go. So even though I still have two waitlists.... I'm done. Decisions made and seat deposit has been sent. : )

5/12/09 - OU upped my scholarship to $7k a year (I asked for reconsideration). I have to let them know by the 15th if I'm attending. Still haven't heard from U of H..... decisions decisions........

4/23/09 - I am going to visit OU tomorrow! a recruiter called and offered me a tour and meeting with her so I took off work and headed to Oklahoma! Still waiting to hear from University of Houston. It's between OU and U of H.

4/12/09 - Received a phone call from University of Oklahoma Recruiter asking if I had received my acceptance letter and scholarship info (just got the scholarship info that day). They offered me $5,000 a yr. Moving up on the list OU.

4/9/09 - Received acceptance letter from Texas Tech (no scholarship) and the letter said the $500 seat deposit is due April 15th! How do they expect me to come up with that in 6 days? Looks like I'll be withdrawing.

4/3/09 - University of Oklahoma replied to my email making sure they received my application with one saying Congrats you were admitted to the Fall class. I received a big package in the mail today (4/9/09) with my acceptance letter (with handwritten note from Dean) and more info on school and area. Hopefully I can get a scholarship here, it's looking better and better.

3/18/09 - Got my first answer today. Baylor accepted me into their Spring 2010 program, which is what I expected. We will see what my other options are. This is a good school, but kind of expensive.

No, this is William Keenen. I was only active in APS fall 2007...I hated it! No one was active at all. Oh, and congrats my fellow 1 out of 1108! I'm not too sure I remember you...were you active that same semester?

Well I of course applied to the big Texas schools. Then, I figured Florida would be a nice place to live and they have good schools out there as well. Miami and Stetson sent me a lot of info. Then the others sent me info. and I liked their schools, or offered me a fee waiver. Where are you hoping to go? What kind of law are you interested in, if you know?
