Man, I urge you to visit Texas Tech if you haven't already. Awesome place. It reminds me of a very clean Austin with a small-town feel. Quality people. Great town. Excellent school. Let me know if you accept their offer.

I remember you. I was the community service chair that same semester! We had a quick conversation about you wouldn't be doing it again because of the fact that nobody participated (true, by the way). I think we are one of 17 that graduated first in our class but it still sounds good : ) Our numbers are very similar. Why did you choose to apply to the law schools that you did?
Yeah, Miami and Stetson recently sent some stuff to me. The campus at Stetson is pretty! I am going to apply to anyone who gave me fee waivers (there are some more that I haven't added yet) and then Texas schools and Univ of Oklahoma cause its a good school and still pretty close. I want to do Criminal Law, how about you? I am almost done with my personal statement, it's been tough. What did you write yours over? Any advice?

ya dude PSU/FSU/UF are all the schools im waiting on. ive been complete at PSU since 1/9, complete at FSU since 1/12, and UF since 1/15. this monday though i went into committee review at UF, finding out through the status checker. you might have too, you should go look. haven't heard anything from PSU/FSU since going complete. my undergrad is michigan state. what about you?
my top picks are probably UF, FSU, Tulane, Miami, in that order. ive already been accepted to miami, so that's good at the very least. because with our numbers, i dont know realistically about me getting into the other 3. miami would be a fine place to go though for me! what are your top and realistic choices?
ya dude if i didn't want to practice/live in florida i probably wouldn't go to UM, but if that's the best florida school i get into, then going there shouldn't be a question. it's pretty hard to practice in florida without a florida school degree (unless it's a sweet school obviously) and by my numbers my options are a TAD limited lol. where do you want to end up/practice at?
dude i called PSU today just outta being bored on spring break and they told me i got WAITLISTED. i can't believe that honestly. they're being ridiculous this year. call them and see whats up for you. they said they sent my WL letter on 3/2. what makes me laugh the most is that they gave me a fee waiver. wow.
i just withdrew from PSU. i dont want to get stuck in PA to practice, so there really is no reason i would want to stay on the WL. florida schools still are what i want...however this WL makes me feel like im doomed for FSU/UF.
unfortunately bro that's probably not good news, since that's when mine was sent too, and everyone else's that got WL'd....they suck lol
i went to decision in transit today for UF. you should check your status checker to see if you did as well.
Texas Tech sent me the combined acceptance and scholarship notice in a single letter. Sent it in the day before yesterday. You may want to call them and ask if yours is binding. Let me know if that's your choice. If it's the one we both go to, I'll have a brew for us both and hope to run into you there. Fingers crossed... good luck on finals, though I doubt you'll need it.
