Out of curiousity... Have you been able to access Southwestern's online status check?

re: rendell and keyes?

yep, that's the correct Keyes. his ideals are very similar to those of inner voice, habitat, and amnesty. not so much with un groups or rendell, lol. but that's why he's alan and i'm jason. ;) thanks!

lol! i don't think i can get him to do anything. i would love for alan to run as a presidential candidate again but, most likely, he would fare no better than he did in the 2000 primaries. however, if he did choose to run, he'd get my vote again!

I don't want to stick around Chicago (or Illinois). I think my chances at nyls, southwestern, and golden gate are pretty decent and the only cities i'm really interested in moving to are san fran, la, and ny. it'll all work out in the end.

sorry to hear about loyola. it distresses me to see someone with such similar numbers as me given the thumbs down. good luck with your apps!

thanks for suggestion. believe it or not (in a worst case scenario) i'm ok with golden gate. their bar passage rate is a little troubling, sure, but i know i kick ass and will work hard enough to pass it. plus, there's always the possibility of transferring. thanks again, though, for the advice!

Re: I really hope you get into Southwest

thanks for the interest. i'm not too interested in paying nyls's ridiculously overpriced tuition. that in addition to the high cost of nyc living is a big turn off. nyls is more expensive than yale and they are ONLY a 3rd tier school. that's mad. maybe if they accept me with a significant financial aid offer i'd consider them now. i'm not too concerned about ggu bar passage rate. between my will to succeed and God's grace, i'll be just fine. yes, even at golden gate university.

hey, thanks for the words. its always nice to hear encouragement - especially from people who don't know you. alan isn't so bad, he just gets a bad rap. most people know his position on only two topics but the man is deeper than that. thanks again!
