12-10-08: Done with applications, for now. I'm still considering submitting apps at a few other schools, but not decided yet. Wish me luck!

01-12-09: Accepted at Capital. Arrived in a large envelope with scholarship information ($20,000/year).

01-21-09: Accepted at ONU. Scholarship offer is forthcoming.

01-23-09: Accepted at Cincinnati via e-mail!

01-26-09: Waitlisted at Wisconsin. Deferred at Indiana. Both as expected.

01-29-09: Scholarship offer from ONU: $26,500 a year (full tuition).

02-17-09: Scholarship offer from Cinci via snail mail: $4,000 a year.

02-23-09: Deferred at Lewis and Clark. Withdrew application, as I no longer had interest in attending.

02-24-09: Deferred at Ohio State. Dissapointed, but I'm going to send in a lot of supplementary material to try to sway them to accept me. It's looking more and more like Cinci will be the choice, and I'm happy with that.

03-05-09: E-mail from Case said they were missing information. Hard to believe they waited this long to let me know. I was totally unimpressed by them at all steps of the process, and, so, withdrew today. Cinci is a better school (and WAY less expensive) anyways.

03-11-09: Withdrew from Indiana and Wisconsin.

03-31-09: Finally rejected at Ohio State, as expected. Thus ends my cycle, and thus cements my decision: I'm off to the University of Cincinnati in August!

04-01-09: Withdrew from ONU and Capital, and sent my deposit to UC. Finally done! Looking forward to moving to Cincinnati in August!

07-15-09: Called an audible - withdrew from Cinci and accepted the offer from Capital. Decided to make the move to Columbus, primarily for family reasons.
