***** I have a good batch of Considers, Weak Considers and Denies! I figure I am only going to do a law cycle once, so I might as well give myself some chances. Also, At the top you can see I recieved Fee Waivers from most of the schools I applied to, which is another reason I applied to more schools.

Additional info & updates

12/05/11- University of Florida application changed from "In Review" to "File Reviewed, no decision reached". From what I have read this is basically like a waitlist and so that is why it is listed as a "waitlist" on LSN!

1/05/12- Receiving a lot of fee waivers this week! Will probably apply to some more schools soon!

1/24/12- Recieved an acceptance call and email today from Stetson. It feels great to have my first acceptance. Also recieved some emails from some of their professors and current students!

1/25/12- Recieved an email to check MyUm today and recieved a notice saying I was accepted! Also, my Wake Forest and Chicago-Kent application status changed to "In Review'!

2/2/2012- Recieved an email from Columbia Law today granting me a fee waiver. Very strange but hey, i have nothing to lose. So, I applied. Also, Georgia, Louisville, Cincinnati, Wake Forest, and Chicago Kent are all still "In Review".

2/2/2012- Baylor status changed to "Decision Letter Mailed". From what I have read this really could be either deny, WL or accept as they mail all decisions now.

2/3/2012- Rejected from Wake via status checker and email today!

2/9/2012- Letter recieved from Baylor Law today, Rejected. Rejected from GA Law as well.

2/10/2012- Accepted to Louisville via status checker. I have now been accepted to all of my "safeties".

2/13/2012- Wisconsin changed to "File In Review" today! Chicago-Kent and Cincinnati still in review as well.

2/16/2012- Michigan and Indiana both emailed me informing me my application was complete at this point. Indiana's status checker changed to "File Complete- No Decision Yet".

2/16/2012-Accepted to Cincinnati law today via email!!!!

2/17/2012- My FSU application status checker changed to "File In Review" this morning. Recieved a scholarship from Stetson today, "Legal Promise" 7500 for three years, no strips.

2/20/2012- Wash-st. Louis emailed me letting me know my application is now complete!

2/21/2012- Status checker changed to "HOLD" for FSU.

2/23/2012- "File In Review" at Indiana-Bloomington. Sent out a LOCI today to FSU.

2/27/2012- George Washington application is now "In Review".

2/28/2012- Just recieved an email, Denied admission to GW law.

2/29/2012-University of Louisville's Offer is an overwhelming 25,000 per year for three years. Even with out of state tuition, thats an awesome offer.

3/2/2012- University of Florida emailed me and informed me I have been officially denied admission. University of Cincinnati scholarship offer in today, 5,000 per year plus GMR tuition which is in-state. Not a bad offer!

3/5/2012-FSU is on spring break, so I will not be hearing from them this week.

3/6/2012- Sent out Scholarship Negotiation Letters to Cincinnati, Louisville, Miami and Stetson.

3/7/2012- Cincinnati denied my negotiation, stating that "they will re-assess my file after the April 15th deadline". Stetson requested copies of the letters from the other schools. Will send Friday.

3/8/2012- Chicago-Kent's application status changed to "File Complete- In Final Review". Hopefully that means I will have a decision soon. If I am waitlisted, I will withdraw. Will send copies of offer letters to Stetson tomorrow.

3/12/2012- Denied Admission to University of Michigan! That was one of those wishful thinking situations!!!

3/13/2012- The new US rankings came out today.. This will definetly affect my decision. A few of the schools dropped significantly and some rose as well.

3/14/2012- Scholarship Negotiation Updates*** Stetson is taking my letter to the Scholarship Commitee this week, Lousiville denied my request and Miami denied my request.

3/15/2012- Admitted at Chicago-Kent via Status Checker.

3/21/2012- Haven't updated in a while. Still awaiting my acceptance packet from Chicago-Kent. Also, awaiting a decision from the Scholarship Commitee at Stetson about my scholarship increase request.

Just recieved an email, Accepted to Wisconsin! This means so much because it is a tier 1 school!

3/22/2012- SMU is under review. (Their email said I would be recieving a decision by the end of April... Ugh) WUSTL emailed me saying my application is Under Review, and I will be recieving a decision in the next few days. (According to the Graph, they send out most of their Rejects/WL during this time.)

3/23/2012- It's official, I have recieved my first Waitlist today. WUSTL has waitlisted me. I will be sending a LOCI because they is the highest ranked school, I believe I may be able to get into!

4/12/2012- Rejected from SMU. Extensions for Seat Deposits for UL and UC.

4/14/2012- Scholarship notification from Wisconsin: 11,000 per year for three years (33000). Also, rejected from Columbia via snail mail (obvious). Two schools left ( FSU/IU-B) and then my cycle is over. Except my WL at WUSTL.

4/16/2012- By not paying the first seat deposit, I have withdrawn from Miami, Stetson and C-Kent. Put some money back in the pool for Stetson Admitted Students. Waiting for a decision from IU-B and FSU. Also, waiting to see what happens with WUSTL. FSU stated I will have a decision by the end of April.

4/17/2012- I believe I have officially decided to Withdraw from UC... It was a hard decision because I am from the area but with UL and UW-M offering me more in Scholarship money, UC just really doesn't have a lot to offer me at this point.

4/18/2012- FSU informed me today that I will have a decision by Friday. I am still listed as "HOLD" on Status Checker.

4/19/2012- FSU Status checker changed to "Under Review" as of this morning. Hopefully I will be getting good news tomorrow!

4/20/2012- Today is the day I hear from FSU, I really hope it is good news. Well status checker changed to "Decision made and will receive by mail". I didn't get the WL email and did not get an accept call so I'm guessing I was denied. Will call on Monday to confirm.

4/23/2012- FSU refused to give me any information about my application over the phone... Further confirmation that I believe I was rejected. I will be receiving a letter in the mail within the week. Chicago-Kent offered a Scholarship today- 20,000 per year, no stips. Also extended the seat deposit deadline to April 30th.

4/24/2012- Finally received my acceptance packet from Wisconsin. Still have not received a letter from FSU stating their decision (Still assuming it is a Rejection). Also, have not received a email from IU-B after emailing multiple times to see when they are releasing another round of decisions.

4/25/2012- Small envelope/letter from FSU today in the mail.. Rejected.

4/27/2012- Only waiting for a decision from IU-B and then my cycle is over.. I have been WL at WUSTL and will wait that out but I will be submitting a seat deposit and choosing an alternative route. Even with Chicago-Kent's scholarship, I will be withdrawing.

4/30/2012- Rejected from Indiana Law today via Email. My cycle is now pretty much over.. My decision will be between Wisconsin and Louisville.

Congrats on your cycle so far! How did you find out that your file at Cincinnati was in review? I didn't think they had a status checker? Good luck with your remaining applications!

Thanks!

cjhilman, Cincinnati does not use Status Checker but a person by the name of Luis Acosta who has emailed me a few different times now, emailed me an informed my that my file was under review and that I should have a decision by the end of the month. Good Luck on your cycle!

FSU & UF

Hi! Thanks! My top choice is UF but I have also been in limbo with them for 2.5 months and FSU is looking more and more attractive to me as time goes on! Hoping for some sort of scholarship or something, but the instate tuition helps alot. Good luck with the rest of your cycle! :) Maybe I'll see you around if we both end up at FSU! (or UF hehe)

Thanks!

Thanks! Honestly, even with in-state tuition and the 3k scholly at Cincinnati, I will most likely decline. To be completely honest, I am about 95% sure I will accept South Carolina's offer. Tuition waiver with no GPA stips = pressure off! What do you plan on doing?

Thanks!

I will probably be declining Cincinnati as well due to my acceptance to Wisconsin and my scholarship offer. As far as where I am leaning, first choice at this point is Wisconsin. The tier 1 ranking and scholarship really makes it hard to turn down. I am still really hoping for good news from IU-B and FSU though! FSU especially because I would be paying In-State tuition, which is a huge plus for me! We will see how the rest of the cycle turns out.
