Additional info & updates

2/6- First acceptance. Wake Forest. Cool. Acceptance came in large white envelope with green trim.

2/11- Deferred at Harvard by e-mail. Pretty stoked about it considering my numbers. But I'm not holding my breath.

2/21- Accepted at Michigan!! Big blue portfolio. At least someone wants me.

2/27- It's a no from Georgetown. Kind a bummed since I really liked living in DC, but not letting it get me down. Rejection letter said that 11,000 people apply to Georgetown. 11,000!

3/6- In at UNC. Acceptance came in small white envelope to my permanent address. UNC has a stranglehold on North Carolina law firms... and I'm pretty sure I want to practice in North Carolina.

3/20- I'm guessing it's going to be waitlists at best here on out. No clue on what I'm going to do.

3/28- Waitlisted at UVA.

4/1- $7,500 a year merit scholarship at UNC! With in-state tuition, I wouldn't have very much debt when I graduate at all.

4/16- Accepted at Duke via e-mail! I had almost lost hope.

4/18- Waitlist letter attached to e-mail from Columbia. Not staying on.

4/18- Came home from work to a FedEx package from Duke. Including a $15,000/year scholarship!

4/25- Waitlisted at Harvard. Just to keep things interesting. Doubt anything will come of it, but it will keep me on my toes for the next several months.

4/29- Duke scholarship increase by phone call. Duke it is!

CYCLE IS OVER! Barring a miracle from Harvard, it looks like I'm headed to Duke Law in the fall. Couldn't be happier with my cycle!
