Additional info & updates

11/16/11 Got my first acceptance! Villanova offered me $20k/year. This would erase the differential between Nova and Maryland in terms of tuition, but I have yet to hear back from Maryland and if they'll offer me a scholarship, who knows.

11/29/11 Got into UBalt. I'm not super enthused as it was my safety and I'm already in at Nova. No scholly info yet, but I imagine they will offer me one. Still, not gonna go there.

12/1/11 I am learning more about Nova and I love what I'm hearing. Might well end up there.

12/5/11 Got into American. They apparently don't give out scholly info until March, but they'd have to offer me a good amount of money for me to go there because it's the most expensive school I applied to.

1/5/12 Got into Temple. Probably not going to go because it is in a sketchy area and I'm not sure I want to live in the city. I applied anyway because it was free and why not? Maybe I can use their acceptance to get more money out of Nova....

2/22/12 Finally heard back from Maryland... I'm in! I now have a very important decision to make, and no idea how to do it.

Hey, did you really get 20K/semester from Villanova or $20K/year? We have almost identical numbers and I got 20K/year.

I feel the exact same way about american.. March is a bit late in the game for such a heavy price tag.
