Took LSAT 6.6.11... felt bad about the test. Don't think I studied adequately (time restraint wise).. Totally bombed the last section or two.. Anyway got a 151.. don't know how i feel about that.

Most of my apps are complete. Just waiting now for the LSAT scores back at the end of next month. I'd rather send everything off at once. I'll use next month to make sure everything is great. The LSAC fee waiver offers are coming in from left, right, and center.

I sat on them for a wk or some because I was worried about my LSAT score from the Oct. LSAT but they said it would be automatically updated with each school...

I guess the real waiting game has begun. In review at Pitt, Temple, PSU, Valpo, Washington And Lee ( Decision tomorrow they say), and widener. Hope something positive comes back soon.

Fee waiver by email sent from Nova.. might as well send off the App. Nova is relatively close.. Oh n will probably WD from Phoenix.. they're shady.. So far they've sent me 4 diff correspondence with 3 different Scholarship amounts on it.. and the recruiter just ignored me when I emailed her for clarification..

NIce letter from Pitt in the mail last night. Telling of acceptance and of scholarship. No stipulations mentioned with the scholarship, other than its renewable for 2L and 3L

Hmm, now I'm getting impatient. My cycle is half over considering I've cracked the T1 seal and gotten into Pitt but come on already lol. Most schools at this point said they begin their application notifications in December so i'm hoping to hear back from most of the remaining schools by then. I guess this means everyday in December I'll be stalking my email and status checkers.... ahh who am i kidding I've already been doing that.

Letters (in mail) last night from W&L dean and academic affairs persons. 3 in total. And also an Emailed on from Pitt's assistant dean.
*** Note to all of those who may be reading these posts next cycle. Law School Predictor and the LSAC school calculator both gave me 0 %- no chance % in getting into UPitt nor Washington and Lee but it still happened. If you're anything like me you'll want all of the information and statistics before applying. But I want to say to you after you've looked at all of the Stats and readings and rankings have faith and reach a bit higher. The schools I've gotten into so far I wasn't supposed to get into but I did. Never be afraid to reach a bit higher esp if your grades and LSAT scores aren't in their 25%-75% range. Granted I have VERy strong softs and a pretty good PS and Resume. BUT ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.***

Admitted at American U!!... status was updated to read 12.1.11 yesterday and then today I got my decision.. Admissions packet is online(??) i should get the letter in "5-7days"

Soo Pitt threw me for a loop last night... I go to check my status checker and it says I've been accepted to a joint MBA/JD with Pitt and CMU... Needless to say I was ecstatic for a few short moments until i remembered.. waiiit I never applied to CMU's MBA program.. I would love to do the joint program however.. SO I emailed them to try to clear this up... let you know how this goes.. CMU's MBA program is #18 in the country

Couldn't access my account since last post. Alot has transpired.

-I visited W&Lee and fell in love with the campus. The Small Community aspect was cool but creepy.

- I withdrew from Valparaiso University, Phoenix, Widener U, Brooklyn Law, American University, Washington and Lee.

- Washington University in St. Louis, I still have not recieved a response from them yes or no or waitlist. So I withdrew. Honestly it pissed me off. I feel like its really rude to have people waiting for a response and you don't have the decency to supply one regardless of what it is.

- Emory
I'm on the waitlist and I have til the 8th to response but frankly I probably won't go there.

*** So now its really down to Temple and UPitt. I probably will be going to Temple because there is a Larger Network and ( in my opinion ) a better all around program. I have already submitted my tuition deposits (1st and 2nd) and I have til April 5.. ( 3 days to change my mind and go to Pitt). Probably not going to happen maybe if I had won that 640 million dollar lottery jackpot I wouldn't care about program and network. But alas not everyone is lucky.

Tuition Deposit Deadline at Pitt. Decided to go to Temple then Pitt gives me a better scholarship...... I'm going to Pitt now. I'm happy with my decision given all of the opportunities and scholarships I've been given. All of the information is correct on the profile, why lie? Good luck to all of the future people in my situation. Reach for the stars and don't undervalue yourself.
