How well does WVU place outside of WV? Any idea?

Thanks!

No word at all yet, eh? You'll get into Dayton for sure with those numbers...the question is, how much scholarship money will they offer? I've all but ruled Dayton out at this point unless they offer major scholarship money, as it is a very expensive school. What is your first choice?

thanks for your insight on the campbell intervew, I am scheduled for Feb. 9. I see that you applied to Wake, it is a great school, I took my LSAT in the law school there and I was pretty impressed, the campus is beautiful. I seriously considered applying but I thought it was a real long shot for me so I decided to save my money and apply somewhere else I had a decent shot. Best of Luck to you.

I know what you are talking about when it comes first choice and price. Even out of state for the first year for me, WVU would be cheaper than mostly any other school.

Appalachian?

Are you considering? Offer is generous. Do you know anything about placement opps in the region for Appy grads? Reputation? Grundy? Thanks

Are you seriously considering attending the law school? If so I can give you some inside info on the school if you would like. Just e-mail me anytime.

Yeah Kivett recently was condemned and they are debating whether to repair it or to just move the school to Raleigh. Also, they just got a new dean and she's really nice. I don't know if you had a chance to meet her. And you are right. Campbell is great for people who wish to practice in NC. Most of the students there are very nice (some of them I went to UG with). I think there are only 4 sections for first year students. Sometimes due to space two sections will be combined to take one or more classes together. Buies Creek I must say has absolutely nothing in it. There's a Wal-Mart, McDonald's, Wendy's and a couple of local restaurants in neighboring areas. But it's not that far from Raleigh so it's not that bad. (I wouldn't recommend frequent visits to Fayetteville) COL is really inexpensive too. Parking on campus would reallty be a problem because the school recently decided to become more of a "walking campus". You might have to fight with some undergrads for a good spot or just walk. But walking isn't that bad because the school is so small and everything is so close. Some teachers practice the Socratic method heavily and can be really intimidating. I'm not even a law student and they have been really helpful with me whenever I had to do research for u-grad. All in all it's a great atmosphere and not a bad school. I'm glad you are considering. Everyone hear is really proud of it.

are you seriously considering Campbell? I thought of applying there as well...but their attrition rate (22%) scares me to death!

Any closer to a decision?

I was betting you'd wind up there all along! :P I'd go there in a heartbeat myself. FIU is gonna wait until the very last minute it seems...
