Additional info & updates

My apps everywhere but Vandy and Michigan have been on hold for the last month and half due to my plan to retake the LSAT in February. Hopefully I'll get decisions from them soon after that score comes out. WUSTL has been a pleasure to apply to. They gave a quick turnaround, a nice travel stipend, and now a scholarship roughly double what I was expecting.

WL at Cornell. Kind of shocked based on the applicants I've been seeing get in. Will ride it out til mid July maybe. Still on the WL at Michigan, where they expect to make 5 offers (wl is between 100-200 I think). Will ride that one out til mid August. All in all, a pretty disappointing cycle. I think retaking in February really hurt my app at places like Cornell and GULC by putting it on hold until March while they kept admitting people.

No idea what happened, bro, but I hope you try again next cycle. Your stats are better than your results.

As I mentioned above, I think what really hurt was the Feb retake. The only schools I had decisions from when I retook were UVA and WUSTL, and I already had a 172 which I should have just let ride. Additionally, my resume was pretty bland. One year of volunteer work and 3 years of part time at Home Depot. @ Yikes: your advice seems spot on, but I really have nothing worth doing and want a change of pace. Decided to take the money at WUSTL.
