Visitor Comments
I've been deferred @ GW but no more news since early January. There's not deferral option on here for some reason...
Rutgers Newark accepted me! They gave me a $8,000 yearly scholarship with the stipulation that I must stay above a 3.0 GPA during my 2nd/3rd year. In addition they placed me in their 'Minority Students Program' due to poverty. With in-state tuition the COA for the first year would ~= $33,000. Assuming a 3.0 that would decrease to ~= $30,000 in the 2nd/3rd years due to state financial aid eligibility
Congrats on Rutgers!! Rutgers only offered me loans. The scholy from Howard is only for the first year, so I'll still be looking around for other monies. Good Luck to you!!!
Are you going to ride the waitlist?
UC Hastings accepted me off their waitlist. I have decided to attend and live in beautiful San Francisco!! In retrospect it has been quite the turbulent cycle.
I was notified today (12/2) that W&L waitlisted me. I'm somewhat suprised because I fall below their 25th percentile for both GPA and LSAT. Hopefully this can continue with other top law schools :)
