Hello, in response to your question I applied to the day division and i am awaiting on word with financial aid.
Yes I did think about asking for more money but decided against it for two reasons. First, we have no leverage. No school that is as highly ranked gave me money. If I had a scholarship offer from U of San Diego or Loyla (for example) then Pepp would probably match it. But the closest thing that I had is 10K from Pacific. Second, we got need based money. Merit based money is given because the school really wants you. Need based money is given because we dirt poor! I doubt Pepperdine is lacking of poor students with 156 and 157 last scores! In fact, I didn't really expect to even get in. So, I think you'd probably be wasting your time but I guess it couldn't hurt. Good luck with whatever you do and maybe see you at Pepp.
