1/14/2007 - Online status Checker says I am in so I am guessing I am. No real information yet. Hoping I don't have to change that Accepted to something else. I can't really test if I can sign up for housing and such since I am already enrolled

1/16/07 - so today I received a letter saying i was not accepted. online it says I am but I am going to believe the letter for now. I did e-mail admissions just in case but I believe now I really have to reconsider my life.

Huge congrats on Denver!! I just went to check my status checker and under all the application info I can't find anywhere where the decision would be posted - I swear it used to say Complete-under review, but maybe I'm confusing it with another status checker. Can you let me know where to find it??

Oh no! So sorry...that is awful news. My status checker sounds like what you described, but I don't think it means accepted or rejected. I also remember reading somewhere that no decisions would be made through the status checker. I should be expecting a letter soon I guess. It's not too late for you to apply to more schools!!

couldn't help but notice your plight and i agree with michelle. you have a lot of time left in the cycle and if you want to be a lawyer, dammit, be a lawyer-- if it's not a DU, so what? (DU is an administrative mess anyway). there are lots of schools out there...

While I can certainly understand being bummed out about Denver, why not look at some other schools? Ptp5y is exactly right, if you really want to be a lawyer, keep trying. If you can get into a school and do very well your first year, you might even be able to transfer back to Denver for your last two years. 21 people transfered into DU last year from somewhere.
