2/28/07 - I know I've applied late and my numbers are average at best, but I'm hoping for the best.

3/8/07 - Just got a letter from UC-Davis asking me for an addendum for my LSAT score (I took it twice - 6pt jump). What does this mean? Is this just an email they crank out automatically or am I really being considered? I'm thinking too much about this!

3/12/07 - So this is the magical six week mark for a few of the schools....I have a feeling that I'll be waiting until the end....

3/26/07 - Feeling very bummed out. My first decision was a rejection from UMICH. Well, that was expected with my scores and all --- if only that decision was delivered to me sandwiched between two acceptances...

3/27/07 - Well I got a call from St. John's today telling me that I got a full ride from their St. Thomas More scholarship. I also got emails from UC Hastings offering me some money as well. Not a bad day...

3/31/07 - I finally got the St. John package andlearned that my scholarship was for all three years! However, after talking to friends and parents, it seems like I' not going to go there. It would be nice to graduate w/o any loans hanging over my head, however, I'd be at the bottom of the pile for jobs. When will the other schools answer???

4/7/07 - Two dings from GULC and UVA --- they were expected --- hopefully I'll get some better news this week.

4/15/07 - So I got waitlisted at BU and a ding from NYU which is fine. I went to Hastings this weekend and I'm really getting into the idea of being in SF and attending that school. The people there seemed really nice and friendly and the dean and the finaid officer seemed really personable.

4/16/07 - GWU DING!

4/17/07 - WL at UCLA! I think that this has been the school that I've been looking most forward to and so I'm going to try to pull out all the stops to get here.

5/5/07 - So I went away from a few weeks and came back to lots of interesting responses:

I'm surprised at the waitlists. I thought I'd be a flat-out reject at Upenn and I felt that I'd be accepted at Fordham...wtf? Davis isn't offering me any money --- which makes my decision to stay at Hastings that much easier --- even if Davis gave me money, I'd have to think really hard --- I'm so in love with hastings. I think I'm going to stick it out at UPenn and UCLA to see what happens --- I'd def. go to either of them in a heartbeat if accepted....

Cardozo gave me a call -- apparently, they're worried that I'd reject the seat if they accepted me - which I think would be true at this point. I'll have to talk to dean to regarding money and such.

USC---where are you????

5/8/07 - USC Ding --- expected.

5/9/07 - Cardozo called to say I was accepted but would I really take it? I said no, as I hope UCLA or Penn admits have done.

So the cycle is pretty much over except for the waitlist --- I can't believe I'm still waiting!

we share the same #s and I also fell that I applied a bit late . Most went out mid January. We also applied at alot of the same schools...Good luck!

So, after all that, I winded up reversing my decision to attend St. John's after I received a full tuition scholarship from Colorado. But yeah, if I didn't, I would still stick to the above. Follow the money AND the reputation, if you're lucky enough.
