As far as living goes, I would try to stay close by to the school. There are a lot of apartments around the University. Its a very nice area. The campus is beautiful as well. As far as reputation in South Florida, everyone knows that its a 4th tier school so you probably won't be able to land a 6 figure job, but you should definitely be able to find employment. Most of the Nova graduates I have met work for smaller firms, usually working for the plaintiff or claimant. In addition to that, I know that many Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judges are Nova Grads....so I would say that you won't get the highest paying job, but you will probably be able to land a decent job, and probably have more of a life.... If I don't get into FIU, I'll be at Nova too....
Are you participating in the Nova AAMPLE program? I am taking the classes online b/c i live in Indiana. Looking forward to this opportunity. Good luck to you.
