Abso Freaking Lutley stay POSITIVE. Keep in touch and let me know where you land. The waiting is killing me but i called and im in review in both schools (Nova via the status checker). FIU said it could take up to 4 weeks or more. I am hoping they are not passing on the seats for the part time to lower lsats or gpas. there has been some dialogue on LSN on them doing that. The people who apply for part time have a reason. We cannot just pick up and go. Good luck!!!
hey, You and i are so in the same boat. i hope we are classmates. anyhoo, i followed up the FIU when LSAC infomred me my last LOR was sent to them. I called and asked if anythign further was needed for my file and she said no, that it was complete. :-)
I haven't decided on Nova yet, but yes the scholarship is per year. I'm actually on hold at FIU. Did you like your undergrad experience at Nova? Good luck!
Hey thanks for the info. I got accepted so i know im going to law school!! I do have that cd when i went to visit the campus last year. it is very informative. i just want to start. you and i are the same as our waiting and shcools. let me knwo where you land, we may be classmates!!!
Hey same here, it will be nice to start with someone in the same boat. I am waiting for FIU and if they accpet me im going there. I just hope people withdraw their seats if they know they are not going.
I am going to see how the rest of my cycle goes. I am still waiting to hear back from Loyola and St. Thomas. If I choose Nova I have to go through their AAMPLE program which is not a guarantee, but at least it's a chance. You'll get in with your numbers.

FIU sent me a letter that said they were holding my app until the applicant pool was better established. It said they will not review my app again until after April 1. I think it is a little better than being wait-listed though.
Hey, good luck with FIU. You should see some action soon now that most schools have pretty much gotten all their applications in.
FIU told me the same 6-8 week thing. I called because they sent me information about applying (but I had already applied) and I want to clear things up. They told me they had my application and would make a decision 6-8 weeks later. The funny thing is I was accepted the following week. Moral of the story is don't stress, because you will likely hear from them much sooner than 6-8 weeks. Your status says PT. I really cant see how they would turn you down for either. I have a very good feeling you will get into FIU, just be patient (Easier said than done, i know ha ha) Email me and let me knwo where you land. You numbers are within pt and ft percentile ranges. We will be in the same PT class. :-)

Hey Thanks for the comment. Good luck with FIU. I withdrew my application so hopefully they will give it to you! I went there for undergrad and it is a great school, but right now I am kind of pissed with the law school, since they demanded me pay my deposit via phone BEFORE informing me I was accepted! LOL, no worries though.

thanks! it is kind of depressing to hear those things, but thats how the world works, i guess. no worries, hope that person with the 163 has a great time there...i am teaching the LSAT this summer for kaplan and if i think that i can retest higher after teaching then i will do it. still keeping up hope. thanks for the message and good luck w/ FIU. that is awesome that you are the first college grad from your fam AND you are going to law school. i will be the first in the fam to finish grad school and i know they are proud...cant imagine how proud your family must be. congrats!

I called FIU yesterday and they told me they could wait until the day before classes start to make a decision on my application. Can you believe that!?
I think i am going to Nova. Do you know what neighborhoods are best in that area. Also, I have heard a lot of bad things about the school. Since you live close do you happen to know their reputation amoung locals. Thanks for any advice!! Angel

I was down in FL this week and talked to FIU and they told me that I would probably be admitted if I said I'd go PT. Then I asked Nova for more $$ and they said no. So I'm 99% going to Pace. Best of luck to you!
Thankn you. I applied fot the Full Time program, I hope that helps. I am sure you will have a good cycle. Since it is late in the cycle you may want to consider some other schools, however. Just a thought. Best of luck, and let me know how it goes.
