True...it may be more realistic, but you'll never know unless you try. The worst they can say is no and life will go on. Good Luck on the schools you are applying to though.

I got waitlisted at Northwestern today....Im happy I still have a chance

Ya I did an off campus interview in October and I am going to do an on campus interview hopefully in March when I visit Chicago

Yes I am praying that it is an acceptance. I would love to go to Loyola, but at least I have something nice to fall back on. I've been hoping that it is taking the mail so long to get here because the package is soooo big...lol ...but probably not. Hopefully we can be classmates. If not, hopefully you get into Pepperdine. I was going to try the Southwestern waitlist, but I was weary of how that would work out. Good Luck to us!!!!

I got in....with contingencies...but I'm in regardless

Thank you sooo very much. It was a big packet with a folder and everything is neatly organized with little tabs for tuition, visiting the campus and curriculum information. I am very excited, but no scholarship info so I am scared ($40,530 and $66,000 COA). Hopefully some scholarship money will open up later after the initial seat deadline. I am pulling for you too. I am doing Full-Time but I don't know if I will accept the packet yet. It's weird, I have to go to a Summer Institute but all I have to do is show up and participate and I am apparently in. We shall see.

The Summer Institute is a 3 week law school prep class that meets 3 days per week for 3 hours. I think they are fascinated with the number 3 haha...but anyways it costs $75, my attendance and participation are mandatory for me to be among the 2012 class. However, if I do it, I believe I get free books for the 1st year. The ASD is April 17th and I don't know if I will be going there as I am still waiting to hear from Northwestern. Good Luck and hopefully you get in today.

Thank you. I really like Loyola so maybe we will both be there in the fall. Northwestern is a great school and I am pretty sure I could get a job anywhere, but I am worried about West Coast Bias (I hear top schools have trouble coming to L.A. because there are so many top schools here). But, even if I don't get in I'd be happy at Loyola because I know they produce great lawyers. Your experience at the district attorney's office should serve you well.

Haha that might actually help. I am sorry about Loyola though. I actually sent Letter of Continued Interest to all the schools that I had left. USC still rejected me, but I think it may have helped with Loyola. I will try and find it and e-mail it to you. Hopefully that helps with Pepperdine, San Diego, and USC. Try and focus on things that make you stand out and will allow you to contribute to the incoming class esp. your internship with the district attorney.

Sorry about Loyola, and congrats on Chapman. Would you go to Chicago-Kent, if given the chance?
