Straight out of undergrad, got some internship and work experience but nothing too spectacular. Wrote some strong personal statements... hopefully. My strategy is to apply to every where and hopefully get in some where. I'm a reach at the majority of the schools I'm applying to.

Sorry about GULC - did you apply regular decision or EA/ED? Good luck with the rest of your cycle! Your LSAT is great - I think you're going to do fine.

Hey! I have similiar GPA and two days before the lsat I had a person close to me pass away so bad outcome! I had been in the 160's pretests. Any advice on where I should apply this time around? Any knowledge on where you are for sure going to go?

congrats on GW!

your Hastings reject scares me since we have similar numbers and I really want to go there. congrats on GW I went there undergrad. DC is a place one loves or hates.

DC

DC does not compare well with California esp. SF. That is if you like California. A lot of people like being in DC they like politics and the trappings of power, the work. But in terms of day to day quality of life I think SF LA SD are better cities. I know a lot of people who went from CA to DC and had trouble adjusting. IF you are not use to waking up and having it be very cold outside for months it really sucks. Still DC is a great city to be a lawyer in and GW is a very good law school. I don't mean to dissuade you maybe I shouldn't say people "hate" DC just that if your not in the political game there aren't a whole lot of things to "love" about DC.

I live in OC and after retaking a course and studying I am upper 150's...much better performance after the course. Are you still thinking about tutoring?
