Additional info & updates

*Will actually be applying in the 2010-2011 cycle
* GPA is low (for law school purposes) because a. I wasn't smart about pre-law majors and should have chosen something I could do even better than the professors, like English, and got myself a nice neat 4.0 because I've been the beast at that since I could read and b. most of my college years were spent with financial or single parenting or medical crises going on (as in, 2 near death experiences that had me hospitalized, etc.) But I'm not here to make excuses.
*Taking the June 2010 LSAT and thinking I might cave in and take a blasted LSAT prep course cause I seriously need a 175 to feel confidence about getting in where I need to be...170 is fine but will make me worry, I don't like being a school's bottom feeder (and I need a scholarship!!!!)...wish me luck!
*UPDATE*
*Bombed the LSAT due to circumstances outside my control. Decided to sit out yet another year, save up the money for a quality prep course, and get the score I know I can get on this test, because I want either a top school or a great scholarship!

Sucks to wait yet another year but worth it to not have the debt for a school JUST to say "I'm in law school now." I don't want to go through the application process more than ONCE!

Also sitting out a year gives my child one more year to be older and in school when law school starts...and gives me time to get a little living done before 1L!
