Not ranking choices yet: Money will be a big factor

Interested in Employment Law

3/18: Iowa offers 11k. Would I make a good Hawkeye?

3/25: It looks like American is not going to give me any dough. I really don't think I can go there with no money at all.

3/27: Chicago-Kent did a total 180 on me. In the email, they said to expect $$. I could see myself living in Chicago...if the price is right

3/28: $15,000 from Kent. I know that you have to get a certain GPA to keep the money, but that doesn't seem unreasonable for such a good offer. I am going to try to get some money out of Wash U and American.

3/30: No money offered from Wash-U. I have sent in my deposit to Chicago-Kent and I am very excited about living and working in Chicago next year.

Thanks a lot! I'm still not sure how I feel about Iowa though. I know how high it has been ranked, but I really don't know if I can see myself living in Iowa for 3 years.

So whats the appeal of Kent over Loyola? I was accepted to both too. It seems like everyones going to Kent over Loyola and I can't figure out why, I liked Loyola better.
