Congrats on Howard. I got waitlisted and I have to send a letter of continued interest - the hardest thing I've ever written. Do you think a paper with "PLEASE???" would be enough? LOL
On Howard. Are you seriously considering attending?
I'm not really sure yet. I plan on going to their Open House on March 9th. But rent is really expensive in Northwest DC. I don't know how I would feel about commuting to class everyday or about sharing a place with a complete stranger. I also don't know how I feel about living in DC for three years. Howard does have good job opportunities though so who knows. Did you go to Howard for UG?
I haven't completely decided against them yet and that's only because of the money they offered me. But I really just don't see myself attending there. I really disliked it and it was an Open House. If that was them at their best I hate to see what it is like on a normal day.

I have no respect for people who put comments like ^that anonymously. However you may feel about my credentials, I know for a fact that any law school that I decide to attend will be well rewarded. The truth of the matter is what may be an ugly attitude to you is me being aware of my personal worth within this profession... and apparently Marquette feels the same way too seeing that they actually DID offer me a scholarship.

In my actual email it says IF YOU GET THIS EMAIL YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO HOWARD LAW... doesnt get to much clearer than that. Not to mention my acceptance letter was sent to my permenant address a few days later. LOL I kinda forgot to post that... thanks for your concern tho.
To be honest, I was content with going to Depaul when they were tied at 80 but now that theyve dropped 11 spots, I'm a bit concerned that they might drop to 3rd tier in the near future... which is wack. If Imma be at a 3rd tier it needs to be Howard. Hopefully Fordham'll let me in, needless to say, all other options will be irrelevant.

When did you officially withdraw from Marquette? What kind of soft factors did you have? I applied to their PT program as a Af-Am male.
