Additional info & updates

*Scholarship amounts per year

1/12- Recieved my first acceptance letter from W&M in a large green envelope! Was offered a Graduate Fellowship worth instate tuition and $4,000 per year stipend!

1/14-Large envelope from UF---acceptance. I am a gator hater by the way!

1/14-Green and white envelope from Wake Forest---acceptance. I later received an e-mail inviting me to interview for the Fletcher Scholarship (worth full tuition plus stipend). After interviewing on March 20, I did not receive the Fletcher Scholly, but was still offered a full tution scholarship!!!

1/18-E-mail from Washington and Lee stating they were "spoiling an exciting trip to the mailbox"--- it was an acceptance.
2/23-Received a letter informing me I was being offered an Honors Scholarship worth $23,000 PER year!

1/30-White Envelope from Emory (stating my decision is inside)... acceptance. Scholarship offer of $7,500 per year. A little surprised since I've seen people with lower numbers being offered much more money.
3/28-Letter stating they could not offer me any additional scholarship money... kinda weird considering I hadn't asked.

2/7-The acceptance streak ends... dinged at Georgetown.

2/13-Small yellow envelope from George Washington... acceptance, with hand-written note on the bottom (I thought that was neat). No mention of scholarships.

2/13-Acceptance from Vanderbilt. No mention of scholarships. End of March received a letter offering an Honor Scholarship worth $7,000 per year.

2/13-Letter from University of South Carolina sent to my permanant residence--- acceptance. I am beginning to think I over-applied to law schools.

3/3-E-mail from Michigan telling me I've been waitlisted. At least they sent me a fee waiver.

3/6-Letter from Berkeley sent to my permanant residence. It was a rejection... mom was happy about this one! She did not want me moving out west.

3/6-Rejection letter from Penn. Not too upset about this one, but two rejections letters in one day kinda stings.

3/22-E-mail from UVA sent at 10:00 at night. I have been waitlisted. Not too surprised about this one.

3/28-Letter from Cornell explaining in the nicest way possible that they were unsure of how many people to accept. So I've been placed on reserve to be waitlisted. The official waitlist will be made in mid to late May.

4/19- Rejection letter from Duke sent to permanant residence.

4/28-Waitlisted at UNC... I have withdrawn there

5/1-Rejection from Harvard sent to permanant residence.

6/15-Received an e-mail from Cornell that I have been accepted. I'm still happy with my decision to attend W&M though.

7/03-Letter from Michigan, saying that they do not have an available seat for me.

I have made a decision to attend William and Mary in the fall! I am so excited. The people there were really friendly, the town was cute, and I was very impressed by the Court Room 21 project and the "law firm" classes. So to all of you who will be a part of the W&M class of 2009 I'll see you in August!
