Hello. I had decent softs I guess. Philosophy club in college (was a phil major) and a year of paralegal experience post college. I had an unconventional undergraduate experience so I chose to expand on my addendum in my personal statement. I explained why I got bad grades and left schools and tried to turn it into a story of personal development and growth (graduating with good grades and working full time after college). I think it's important when you have a really low GPA to be honest and transparent about the reasons behind it. Some schools are going to be more splitter friendly than others but whatever. Obviously you can't change your past but you can take ownership of it and show how you learned from it. Hofstra was my top choice so I'm more than pleased with my results. Apparently it was a really tough cycle so you may have better results next year. Good luck!
How were your softs and personal statement? Similar GPA and LSAT so just wondering!
