1/7/10 First acceptance! Fla Coastal scholarship is per year with 3.0 average. Talked with Loyola admissions officer yesterday re: part-time vs full time. She said it's a fallacy that the numbers are different for each division and that I had to pick one. I'm sticking with pt

1/16/10 In at John Marshall with a $14K per yr scholarship as long as I stay in top 20% of class. Anybody know how difficult that is to do? Letter arrived today, three days after the app was complete. Looks like I'm staying in Chicago! Still waiting to hear from Depaul, Loyola, and Kent

2/7/10 John Marshall sent a letter revising terms of scholarship to top 30%. In at Marquette and DePaul PT. I'm still on waiting list at DePaul for full time

4/12/10 Finally got a decision from Kent; accepted into their part time day program. Must have really been on the cusp since the letter was dated April 2 and mailed on the 6th. Waitlisted for U of F which is not bad. All this time has led me to believe that Loyola will be the best place for me. Feels good!

Congrats on Fla Coastal. I lived in south FL for a few years and the weather is amazing. GL with your cycle and hopefully you'll hear back from the schools soon. I think our apps were about a week off.
