-I'm a bit depressed...this has become my own personal wall of rejection...oh well, at least I got into Santa Clara. I'm excited to see what other schools accept me as I still have a few in play. Wish me luck!

i have a friend who reminds me of you that applied last year. she was a URM and took the lsat twice and scored in the mid 150s both times, her gpa was a little bit higher than yours though but not a whole lot. she ended up at ucla after being on the waitlist for awhile, until about the end of june. so hang in there and good luck!

good luck

BC Waitlist Question
Friday, November 16 2007 at 07:00 PM

I'm curious - are you on the regular waitlist or the priority waitlist for BC? Do you know if there's a difference. I'm also on the WL so I'm curious - thanks!

don't be depressed

not sure if you have visited but santa clara is a great school and you will make good money practicing in the bay area as a grad from there...i hope i get in too. seriously, if you don't mind leaving texas for law school, you will probably end up LOVING santa clara. good luck.

santa clara

i grew up in san jose...all of the lawyers i know went to santa clara mostly. the alumni network in the bay area from santa clara is excellent. reputation is so important in getting jobs and SCU is very highly regarded in the area. it may be a different story if you want to practice law in Texas. your preferences may be different from mine but personally, i would not hesitate to attend SCU Law knowing that i will be in a great position upon graduation to be a successful lawyer.

do you know much about texas tech or have any information regarding the schools reputation that could be helpful to me? odds are i will end up at Gonzaga if i don't get any more acceptances but i am intrigued by Texas Tech. i have heard some good things.
