Got "held" at Texas to Regular Decision pool

Very surprised when W&M acceptance came after getting an email that said they were not a rolling admissions school - I wasn't expecting a decision until April 1

Held over to regular admissions cycle at Cornell

Washington University in St. Louis email acceptance, snail mail letter on the way

Boston U. phone call while standing in line for Christmas shopping at the mall

I hadn't received a complete notification from USC, so I emailed and they said I was, so I just put down the date I received the email response from them

I saw most people were putting the email from Michigan as a deferral, so I will as well!

Chicago rejection via snail mail

USC acceptance in regular mail, large envelope and packet

Wow!!! Into Michigan today after original "we're still looking" email in January! I am so excited! For the record, I did send a letter of interest and updated some job-related news, I also sent an additional LOR and wrote the "Why Michigan" essay (which I didn't do in the initial application - I did 2 other ones, but when I called the guy in the admissions office said this was my chance to do it, so it wouldn't be a problem having 3 optional essays)

Waitlisted at UT by email after initially being deferred.
I am going to withdraw.

I still don't know what's going on with Cornell, but I'll be attending Michigan in the fall!

Got my "decision" from Cornell today - deferred again til the end of May, at which time they'll make more decisions or put me on the waitlist. I withdrew last week.

Go Wolverines!

Scholarship/financial aid:

BU - $20k a year for each of 3 years ($60k, combination of merit plus need)

WUSTL is a great school. I knew lots of law students who all seemed to love it. St. Louis is also a great town. Let me know if you have any questions. If you come to visit, I can show you around.

Congrats to you too! Maybe we'll end up at the same school!

Thanks, and don't worry, you should be in there too. Are you leaning toward any school in particular?

I have to say I am ecstatic that I got into UT! That is most likely where I will go, unless they just make it economically unfeasable. I hope you get in also! Considering our numbers are identical I don't see why you wouldnt. Keep me posted!
