3/15/13: Wow, that was quick. GWU gets back to me in just 35 hours with acceptance to the full-time program. I'm honored.
3/27/13 - OK, I'll put the info here. William and Mary waitlisted me.
3/27/13 - In at Temple. They have a program where you study in China for a year that I find intriguing.
4/2/13 - Waitlisted by American. Since I have a $13,000 grant from GWU, the schools cost roughly the same, and GWU has better international programs, I don't see American staying in the running.

You seem to be the closest thing on this site to my applicant doppleganger. Congrats on the GWU acceptance, I just received mine on the same day you did. Are you planning on attending or is there another University that you have your fingers crossed for?

When did you get your grant offer? and is that 13,000 for for one year or calculated to all three?

The GW financial aid package came April 1. It appears to be only for one year, although it's a bit cryptic. I am scheduling a phone interview with Maryland for a scholarship opportunity later this week.

from what i understand you have to reapply for the grant every year but there shouldn't be an issue renewing unless there's a significant increase in your income (which i would think would be happy problems)
