03-16-10: File complete & Under review at FAMU
03-17-10: Called UDC admission, but got the v-mail. Sent an email asking about admissions status, since there hasn't been a change to my online status checker since they received my application.
03-18-10: Finally submitting my completed apps to NCCU and TSU, been waiting on an LOR from a professor and it finally got to LSAC. Submitting this afternoon or tomorrow morning...
Called UDC again, spoke with Vivian Canty, nice lady, she went through my file and noted that they just received my last LOR, so she is changing my status to complete so that it can be reviewed.
Called Southern U, spoke to the admissions secretary, she said they received all of my documents and my file is now under review
3-23-10: Submitted NCCU, going to submit TSU tomorrow or Thursday.
4-13-10: Application went complete at NCCU and FIU
4-26-10: Called FAMU & UDC
FAMU: Status changed to Letter Mailed
UDC: Still in Review
4-29-10: FAMU: I got put into the LEAP pool, not really sure if that means I got waitlisted or what, but I am sending them a Continued letter of interest, updated resume, and two additional letter of rec TODAY!!!
***Does anyone know when the LEAP program is set to begin this summer, I need to give my boss some kind of time line just in case I get into the program.
5-4-10: Called FAMU and they received my continued letter of interest and Letter of Rec from my current employer. I am waiting on my letter from my mentor to reach them.
**Crossing my fingers on this LEAP program.. since my LSAT score is low
5-8-10: Southern: Didn't feel like checking the mail, but something told me to.. I got my first acceptance letter!! Deposit is due NEXT TUESDAY, but its only $50, that will be sent this week!!
-I am officially going to LAW SCHOOL
5-11-10: FAMU status checker changed to Letter Forthcoming.. humm!!!
Southern: Deposit, FinAid Docs, & Immunization Records all sent today! I know I am going somewhere!!!
5-12-10: Emailed admissions at UDC, my status still says FILE COMPLETE.. can I get a IN REVIEW, so I know something is going on. They were the first school I applied to and I haven't heard anything from them.
5-14-10: Received my letter from FAMU, got offered a spot in their LEAP summer program. June 28-Aug 5, I will be attending, but still plan to attend Southern Univ. in the fall, unless I have a change of heart this summer.
5-17-10: FAMU changed status to LEAP participant
5-18-10: NCCU file status changed to Decision Rendered. Hopefully its good news!!
UDC: Called 3 times today and got voice mail each time. I will call again, makes no sense that they were the first to receive my application and have yet to make a decision, but the school that received it last has made a decision.
Southern: FinAid & Admissions have received all of my paperwork..
5-21-10: Got my first rejection, and I am ok with it. guess I won't be in North Carolina.. (Kind of proud of myself, I am typically really emotional about stuff like this)
FIU: Status changed to Decision rendered, Letter mailed
5-25-10: FIU: My parents received my letter from FIU, still not sure why they mailed it to my home address when I listed my current address on my application. But anyway, rejection, with the reconsideration form. Gonna send it back in, but not going to get my hopes up about it.
6-18-10: Next week is my last week in Tallahassee, and on the 28th I will being the FAMU LEAP program, I need to maintain an 82 avg or better in order to recieve full admission into the university. I am excited and ready
UDC: Still nothing, I am going to call the dean there, I would just like to know if I can remove them from my FAFSA or not.
-Question My status said Letter mailed,I haven't been admitted into the program, I am under review for their conditional admit program, so nothing else changed on my status checker.
