I just called and didn't formally ask about my status but let it known that I did receive a letter for my wait list status and they didn't mention anything else. I guess I'll call in a few days to "check and make sure they received my waitlist information." I am so excited for you! I'm hoping that I'll receive some great news soon too!
Where have you been my whole life? I think we have exactly the same application minus our major, work experience, and one point LSAT difference lol I'm so glad to see you were waitlisted at Capital. They denied me rather quickly so I assume they have a cut off between 146 and 147. Originally I really wanted to go to Akron and might end up transferring there later in law school since I am really interested in intellectual property. With that being said, UD is my top school at this point. Being able to focus in entertainment law would be a dream come true as well as staying in Ohio, being close to Columbus, being 3.5 hours from my family near Cleveland, and a bunch of other little perks. I'm sure you are freaking out because you haven't received an acceptance yet, so applying for jobs may not be a bad idea but the Ohio market is SO terrible. I was applying for jobs in March just in case and realized that the only jobs available I have too much pride to take. I suggest looking outside of Ohio if you can financially afford it. Thank you for the update about ONU, now I don't have to run to the mail everyday or call home and annoy my mom lol. All I know is I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Dayton and if we're lucky we'll be study partners in a few months! Keep in touch and as always feel free to rant :)
