Additional info & updates

I am not ranking my choices because I have no idea which one to pick!

5/17/07 - My cycle has been over for nearly a month. What a relief! UW here I come

4/27/07 - Waitlisted at University of the Pacific. No thanks - withdrew immediately

4/26/07 - Reject from UCLA...Saw that coming from a mile away

4/24/07 - Priority Waitlisted at U of IL.

4/20/07 - Rejected from UPenn...Although this really was my top choice, I've pretty much been planning on attend UW so it didn't hurt as much.

4/09/07 - Rejected from Vanderbilt...Oh well...I really only applied because of the fee waiver they sent me.

4/05/07 - Withdrew from SLU, DePaul, Miami via e-mail. Sent in response card to UW-Madison indicating that I need more time to decide.

3/26/07 - Received acceptance from SLU today. Also got $16K per year from them. Acceptance letter invited me to Admitted Students Weekend on 3/23-3/24...

3/04/07 - Withdrew from University of San Francisco via E-mail before receiving decision. Last week I received a very off-putting email suggesting that I would be more likely to be admitted if I applied to the Special Admittance Program, which includes a five week bridge course in the summer to help students adjust to law school. Never mind the fact that my GPA is higher than their 75% percentile and my LSAT is higher than their 25% percentile.

2/24/07 - Received DePaul University acceptance. Also got $30,000 scholarship (for three years). Its doubtfull I will attend but holiding out on WD until other offers come in.

2/23/07 - Received an e-mail from DePaul regarding Law Day for admitted students. Haven't received the official notice yet, but it seems that this wasn not an e-mail error according to LSD. Yay!

2/19/07 - Received invitation to apply/fee waiver from University of the Pacific...Interesting since I applied nearly two months ago. Appliaton was free because I filed it via their website anyways.

2/14/07 - First Tier 1 Acceptance, what a nice valentines day gift...Wisconsin loves me! A strong contender for attendance. Came in a total generic envelope with a window...I thought for sure it was something else. Also a really fast decision!

2/05/07 - First acceptance! Yay! I am so glad my first wasn't a rejection. University of Miami - In small ivory envelope dated February 1, 2007. Never told me I was complete, they just sent me an application received postcard back in late January.

Yes, I plan to attend the admitted students' weekend in March. I am familiar with the University already, because I am just finishing my Master's program there now. But I have lots of specific questions about the law program, and want to meet my future classmates. Where are you coming from?

Sorry to see you dinged by UPenn. But I suppose that increases the likelihood that I will see you this fall, so it's not all bad. :)

lol at Pacific waitlisting you..that seems pretty dumb. They must have known you wouldn't attend if accepted.
