Additional info & updates

- 8/22 - Yeah, not so much. After spending the last 6 days on pins and needles and not hearing anything, and with orientation now underway, I called Fordham to ask if I should still have hope. And, well, no - after the first day of orientation yesterday, nothing shook out, atleast for me, and nothing is going to shake out now. Well, it was a fun ride. Okay, so it wasn't fun at all. It was torturous and it came to a horrible end. Such is the way. Guess I'm just going to have to kick ass and take names at Cardozo.

- 8/15 - Assuming all hope was gone, I received an email from Fordham's Dean Chalmers. I had been put on a "priority waitlist" - a waitlist to the fill the expected few last-minute openings, as they arose. This waitlist consisted of a "select few applicants". I immediately and enthusiastically replied. Sounded like I had a fighting shot...

- 5/22 - Waitlisted at Fordham. Still hoping and praying.

- 5/15 - Looks like I'm hanging tough on the Fordham deferral list.

- 4/7 - Withdrawn now from (1) NYLS (Just didn't think it was where I wanted to be), (2) Brooklyn (Really prefer Cardozo). Will likely soon withdraw from BU (although it's so tough to withdraw myself from my "highest-ranked" acceptance) and the BC and GW waitlists. The game has come down to Cardozo vs. Fordham.

- 3/31 - Boston University (accepted) standard mail, large white envelope. Given the preceeding comment posted late last night, who didn't see this coming?

- 3/31 - My fiancee got into Columbia for Grad School, which means that we're headed to New York. I've withdrawn from American. I have visits coming up at Cardozo and Brooklyn.

- NYLS (accepted) standard mail, standard envelope SENT TO MY OLD ADDRESS TWICE!

- Boston College (priority waitlisted) standard mail, standard envelope

- Harvard (rejected) standard mail, standard envelope

- Columbia (rejected) standard mail, standard envelope

- Georgetown (rejected) standard mail, standard envelope [had gone to decision 1/31/06]

- Brooklyn (accepted) Put your lighters up; e-mail

- Fordham (deferred) Online Status Check read "pended", letter-sized envelope followed

- GW (waitlisted) Standard mail, standard envelope

- NYU (rejected) Standard mail, standard envelope

- Cardozo (accepted) Phone Call from Dean of Admissions Schwartz, letter/package followed

- American University (accepted) USPS priority mail
