Additional info & updates

12/11/17: Accepted to Rutgers - Newark via email. $24,000 scholarship over 3 years. Confirmed on status checker. Paper materials to be received within 3-5 business days.

12/14/17: Accepted to Howard University School of Law via status checker and follow up email. $52,500 scholarship over 3 years provided I remain in the top 50% in class ranking. Paper materials to be received in 5-10 business days.

12/15/17: Accepted to Fordham Law School via email and status checker. No info as to scholarship as yet. Waiting for paper materials to be received.

12/15/17: Received invitation to interview with Columbia Law School. Very anxious but excited! Will update following the interview.

12/18/17: Physical materials for Rutgers Law School acceptance and merit based aid arrived.

12/22/17: Physical materials for Fordham Law School acceptance arrived. Letter indicates that a letter regarding any merit based aid (if I receive any) will arrive in about 2 weeks.

12/27/17: Had an admissions interview with Columbia Law School. It was very casual and essentially served as an opportunity to express my goals as a law student and future practitioner as well as allowed me to answer application specific questions from the admissions officer, ask questions to her about the school/program and provide them with anything that I wanted them to know as they reviewed my application. Hopefully I will hear from them soon.

12/29/17: ADMITTED TO COLUMBIA LAW SCHOOL EARLY DECISION! I now have to withdraw my pending applications and turn down the current offers that I have currently. I will update my scholarship (if any) when I am notified.

Sometime between Jan 3-13: Received a nice handwritten letter from the Admission's Team indicating that formal materials would arrive by the end of the January along with a cute little drawstring bag. Such a nice gesture as I've been anxiously waiting for my deposit information, etc. to arrive.
