My #1 choices are San Diego and Cardozo/Fordham or Miami, depending if I choose to stay in NYC, head south or out West. Right now I'm clueless...

Scholarship amounts are over 3 years.

2-2-07: My first acceptance! Miami via snail mail. That was quick!

2-6-07: In at Rutgers-Newark via email.

2-9-07: THE BIG ONE!! In at USD!!! Also in at DePaul with a scholarship. Both via snail mail.

2-20-07: Miami scholarship came today - $23k/year. Not bad at all!

2-23-07: In at USF via email. $16,500 scholarship for 1st year.

2-27-07: In at UoP via priority mail. Also told I'm a "Legal Scholar".

NYC schools, where are you?

3-02-07: Looks like I'm in at St. John's. Got invited to an admitted student's day via email. Will update accordingly.

In at Baylor via snail mail.

3-03-07: In a St. John's via snail mail. $12.5k/yr renewable. Finally some NYC love should I decide to stick around!

Also $15k per yr and 1st year books from UoP.

3-15-07: Well the streak had to end somewhere. Waitlisted at Fordham via status checker. I'm also losing hope with Cardozo and Brooklyn at this point, but hopefully I'm wrong.

Visited San Diego this past weekend and absolutely loved everything about the school and the city! What to do...

3-19-07: 1st ding this cycle. Hastings said "thanks, but no thanks". Wasn't gonna go anyway, but it's still no fun. Found out via status checker.

3-22-07: BC decided to stop using my application for darts and send me my hard earned rejection. I knew my chances were very slim, but figured it was worth a shot.

3-27-07: USD called to inform me of $16k/yr scholarship (if I stay in top 1/3). Amazing!!

3-27-07: Brooklyn offered me PT day program with option to transfer to FT. They need to know by like 4/11, so I'll unlikely be taking it. I'll sit on their FT waitlist.

4-07-07: Cardozo waitlisted me, and offered consideration for the May start. I'll sit on the waitlist, but won't start in May.

4-12-07: In at Santa Clara via email. I've officially heard from every school.

5-11-07: It's official, I'll be at USD! I withdrew from Miami and Rutgers, the other 2 schools I sent deposits to this week.

sorry about the WL @ Fordham..but its better than my out right rejction. lol Good Luck with all your schools! I'm visiting Rutgers next week so I'll see how this whole PATH system works from the city.

i guess Brooklyn does not love us after all! haha your right though, it's better than a rejection. i am trying to figure out if its worht the extra money [vs. R-N ] to have better job prospects in NYC
